THEME: DON'T GIVE ROOM TO GREED
Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot went to the chief Priests and said, what are you willing to give me if I deliver Him to you? And they counted out to him thirty pieces of silver. Matthew 26: 14 ? 15.
What is your motive in that decision you have taken? What is in your mind regarding the action thought you are nursing?
Judas Iscariot was among the twelve carefully selected by Jesus from the larger group to form His closest companion. The purpose of this was that they may be with Him in order to learn from Him, and then go out in divine power to extend His work. In Jesus team, there was no one treated differently or badly, all were treated and taught the same way.
Greed and lack of contentment have driven so many people into a traitorous life. In Nigeria today, kidnapping or abduction has become the easiest way to make money. Get rich quick syndrome has eaten deep in the annals of this present world. Insincerity has taken root in all spheres of life.
Christian brothers and sisters must weed out every form of greed and covetousness. Watch out for any manifestation of greed and deal with it before it dominates your life. Let there be sincere and true love among the brethren.
ACTION POINT:
Resist every attempt to be used by someone to betray anyone. Betrayers do not succeed, they fade away easily.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. O Lord, expose every secret of my enemies and bring them to judgment in the name of Jesus.
2. Father, frustrate every evil plan against my life in the name of Jesus.
3. Father, confuse every council of conspirators against me in the name of Jesus.
