RESTORATION TODAY
THURSDAY 3RD NOVEMBER 2016
BY PASTOR DR. G.O. OLUTOLA JP.
THEME: GOD IS WORKING IN YOU.
Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might, He increases strengths. Isaiah 40: 28 - 29.
Our bodies can be compared to a gift wrap that fades and becomes wrinkled. Our bodies hold the imprint of everything we have lived through our tears and our laughter. But eventually, our gift wrap will be discarded and the focus will shift to the jewel inside the gift wrap and that is souls, because our souls have the potential to reflect God's glory for all eternity.
In this analogy, God is like a jeweler. Our souls are safe in His hands. He has promised that nothing can pull or separate us from His love. When we accept God's invitation to be keeper of our soul, He begins His work: carefully polishing and shining up our souls. As we surrender our souls to Him ad learn to hear His voice, we experience deeper peace and purpose.
If we are going to learn to trust God in adversity, we must believe that just as certainly as God will allow nothing to subvert His glory, so He will allow nothing to spoil the good He is working out in us and for us.

God is working in you. Allow Him.
