Verse1:
It’s been a long time and it’s clear we don’t talk no more
It hurts to look back when all you see is remorse
The way you walk by with that look in your eye
Makes me I feel what you crave got to say
It’s been a long time since our promises have passed away
How could we be so wrong
Chorus:
What if we had never crossed paths
Do you think we could ever cross back
What if we had never crossed paths
Just watched each other pass, could we recall that
What if we had never crossed paths
Do you think we could ever cross back
What if we had never crossed paths
Verse2:
Our first encounter struck lightning bathed in sudden wonders
Like when your senses your are intense as dazed with summer thunder
Broadening up horizons opening through new directions
Trajectories which previously seemed in hidden dimensions
Walking for miles our each footstep touching different stars
Who would have guessed our trail would finish stuck in old memoirs
It’s said journeys can strengthen even when they bring dead ends
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger is what some pretend
Bridge:
But that was all just false pretence yeah
As the pain got so intense
And since we cannot make amends
Is that not where the ends commence
