Christmas can be subdivided into two parts:
Christ and Mass.
Christ derived from Jesus Christ of Nazareth is a king born to deliver us from our sins, He was the firstborn of God and He was brought to this world by the Virgin Mary through Holy Spirit.

Mass is simply the people He came to deliver from their sins.
Therefore December 25th is a special day to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ.

I wish I can have a photoshoot with Jesus right now because it's His birthday.
