DAY 29

The study of ANNA (Luke 2)

ANNA the prophetess! 

Luke.2.36 ANNA, a PROPHETESS, was also there in the Temple. She was the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher, and was very old. She was a widow, for her husband had died when they had been married only seven years. (NLT)

Luke.2.37 She was now eighty-four years old. She never left the Temple but stayed there day and night, worshiping God with fasting and prayer. (NLT)

Luke.2.38 She came along just as Simeon was talking with Mary and Joseph, and she began praising God. She talked about Jesus to everyone who had been waiting for the promised King to come and deliver Jerusalem. (NLT)

A WOMAN who stayed in the temple, fasting and praying, waiting for the birth of the messiah (the redemption of Jerusalem).

ANNA, a prophetess knew about the redemption and coming of Christ, simply put; she had received the coming of Christ (the consolation of Jerusalem) before time, and she waited and kept herself in the temple praying and fasting for the coming of Christ.

We learn from ANNA that when a prophecy or word is spoken over your life, there is a place of waiting for the word or prophecy to come and in waiting is travailing with all diligence and wisdom unto the birthing of the prophecy or word. 

Dear WOMAN, what God has said concerning your life, keep pressing and staying in the place of prayer until it is birthed. Don't just receive prophecy, you travail to birth it.

Many prophecies over your life as a WOMAN are prolonged and hanging, because what to birth was not done. The prophecies over your life is likened unto a seed or a fresh egg being laid, if not properly incubated in the right proportion and way by the help of an expert, it won't become a chick. 

Dear WOMAN if you don't pay the price to birth those great prophecies, dreams and revelation it will only remain abstract and never come to reality. Pray and fast your dreams, revelations and prophecies into reality.

When a WOMAN conceives, her duty is to take care of the foetu prophecy/vision/ dream) going regularly for Antenatal, doing the necessary things for the foetus to grow from that form into a complete human or else by the time of birth what was inside of her will be born unhealthy or dead.

Dear WOMAN, no matter how great and marvelous is the things that has been spoken over you or even before you, you don't just sit and wait for the revelation by and by..........

2 Timothy 2:5
And if a man(both gender) also strive for masteries, yet is he not CROWNED, except he STRIVE LAWFULLY.

Will you sit and wait or stand up and strive lawfully?

Be like ANNA.

Be sensitive to also know the fulfillment of what you've been praying/waiting for.
